Getting ready for Guadeloupe

Admiring yachts at English Harbour as we refuel

We leave for Guadeloupe tomorrow morning. Our target port of entry is Deshaies on the northwest corner. After that we will check out Terre-de-Haut, an island to the south. The weather as usual looks to be on the nose, but the wind and waves will be super light. We may even have to motor sail part of the way. Today we checked out of customs and immigration and motored over to English Harbour to top off the diesel. There were some big yachts backing into Nelson’s Dockyard and we were surprised that after dropping their anchors to med moor that a dive boat comes out to float and move the anchors much further out. English Harbour was pretty full so we are back at Falmouth until we depart in the morning. We are looking forward to getting some more of that french food!
