Miniature one-designs square off in Lake Allatoona conditions

Falmouth Harbour continues as our base of operations for our visit with Scott and Jill. We have gone from big winds last week to no wind this week making it very warm. On Friday we had dinner and watched two men race miniature sailboats in almost no wind in front of the dinghy dock. We have seen these small boats on shore made of plywood less than five feet long and they appear to be some type of local one design. The sailors racing them are very good and have to sit inside them like a bathtub. Yesterday the freezer cut off and produced an unknown error code not found in the manual. After a few emails to the pros, the problem was traced down to a disconnected wire harness to the temperature probe which was easily fixed. Amy and Jill snorkeled off the boat yesterday and spotted an eagle ray and some turtles. Today a walk was made to Windward Bay Beach where Jill & Scott collected some sea glass and blue bitch rocks.
