We have changed anchoring spots a few times since the last post in order to get get some protection from the prevailing winds and waves. The wind is coming out of the east sometime tonight so we are now anchored off Green Turtle Cay. The bottom at this location is lined with a crazy thick grass so we drug for around 200 meters before we found a piece of sand to catch and set the anchor. It is also very shallow and we have less than a foot under the keel. We went ashore today to the main settlement of New Plymouth. Several of the buildings were destroyed by Dorian and there is a lot of rebuilding activity with dozens of golf carts hauling building materials around. We took the dinghy next door to Black Sound and it was pretty hard hit as well, including the marina. We plan to visit White Sound and the Green Turtle Club on our next shore excursion.
