Crab Cay, Abacos

Crab Cay with cut to Atlantic to right, finally at anchor

Today was day five in the Bahamas so we could take our day-5 Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test at the marina to complete our health visa process. After receiving negative results we took a short sail south to Crab Cay which is a small uninhabited island between Manjack Cay and Green Turtle. We saw two sea turtles on the sail. I had planed to clean the bottom when we got to the Bahamas but the marina was infested with large sharks (9 ft.+) that lurk for the fishing boats to come in and clean their catch on the docks. The locals say they can get aggressive so I stayed dry. I was going to scrub on arrival today but the sea temperature read 69. The wetsuit comes out tomorrow and it will get it done for sure. Meanwhile we will enjoy a nice day at anchor as Amy makes pizza!

Hey we are shark free!
