When we arrived in Antigua we checked in at Jolly Harbor. It was a much faster process than the last time we checked in at English Harbor so I would advise other cruisers to use it as the port of entry. Afterwards we had some lunch, did some grocery shopping, and took the dinghy back to the boat in steady rain. It is always great to get some rain after a passage to scrub some of the salt off. On the 28th we motored up the coast a few miles and anchored in Deep Bay. The name is confusing because it is not very deep. The center of the bay has a sunk ship that brings a steady stream of snorkelers. There is a big beach and a small resort ashore. Several cruisers have cycled in and out since we have dropped anchor. The next weather window to go to Barbuda is looking like next Saturday. We have a front coming through Tuesday bringing some big wind and waves from the NE. We have been researching safe harbors on west side of Antigua to ride it out.
