We have gone further up the river and docked at Skipjack Cove Yachting Resort in Georgetown, MD to wait out Dorian. We have not had the opportunity to stay on a side-to dock before so Jim takes advantage to wash and seal the hull. Renegade has Awlgrip paint and its care requires washing and applying sealer on a regular basis. Without boats on each side Jim breaks out the paddle board & hose then washes/applies. It takes a while but we are set for six months.
The wildlife is very active as we spot six bald eagles in flight at once. They appear to be nesting in nearby trees. Locals say the eagles have just recently returned to the area.
