Georgetown, MD

by admin

We have spent the last week in Georgetown, MD because we have excellent internet connectivity for Amy’s work and the dock fees are inexpensive. Additionally the water is very clear so our systems like it. There is not much here except a few marinas. There is a historical house here that escaped burning by the Royal Navy in the war of 1812 apparently because its owner Kitty was very attractive and she persuaded the British captain to let it be. Jim went for a run but tumbled down the hill in front of Miss Kitty’s house so it is not all good luck. Amy enjoyed watching the bald eagles in the mornings.
