Today we drove the dinghy to the northern side of the anchorage and took a walk around the northern tip of Great Guana Cay. There was a road we could follow but no development. The ground was mainly exposed limestone with plenty of vegetation. Every few yards were sinkholes. Some were in the large bottomless pit classification so we decided it was best to stay on the road. We had breakfast with Allan and Joey from SV Woza Moya also in the harbor. Under the small world category we sailed Woza Moya on a BVI trip with friends Mike (drummer of Wild West Picture Show) and Irena when it was in charter with Sunsail in 2009. In an extra bit of low probability, Allan turns out to be a Thistle sailor planning to crew in the Nationals in Jacksonville this year. Tomorrow we have a good weather window and plan to take off to Eleuthera at first light to make it through Dotham Cut at ebb tide.
